Dear Friends,
The future of Ukraine is uncertain. Russia continues to occupy more Ukrainian land. Drone and rocket attacks come daily.
1. Here is a 58 second look into what Ukrainians are thinking and feeling. This video was created by Anya Ivanish, with text by Olya Balaban (both pictured below).
2. Already, we are planning summer programs of rehabilitation from trauma. These are held on the Black Sea in Bulgaria. $250 pays for travel, insurance, room and board for one person. Would you or your church sponsor mothers and children? Go to:

3. We are funding students in Presbyterian High Schools in the USA and looking ahead to university or college. The cost per student is $8,000. We have placed seven. If you would like help to fund this venture, go to

4. The staff of This Child Here continues to work with families displaced by this war: with Centers open 7 days a week, with summer programs on the Black Sea, placing students in high schools and colleges in America, and in spite of war, building a remarkable community of trust and support.
5. In closing, Oli and I are happy to announce our marriage last Saturday at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church with Rev David Carter Florence presiding and family attending.
