What will we give you?
We will give you a connection to the lives of vulnerable youth and children in Ukraine. With photos and stories, we will keep you informed and hopefully inspired. And we will be reasonable about that. We know how fast email boxes fill up. About once a month an email newsletter will come to you, and, of course, you can always go to the website and read it.
What else can you give us?
Emotional and spiritual support. Most members of churches believe it is important to hear Presbyterians at work in the world. They don’t realize how important it can be for those people to come to congregations. Every time I speak, meet, show pictures, or answer questions, I go away renewed.

All funds given go directly to the person or family. No funds are used for military purposes.
Lifeline - the fund for education and travel to the states for applicants accepted by schools we are working with in the States. We call it "Lifeline" because it really is like throwing a line to students in this raging sea that is The War in Ukraine. And because one day that student will help to save not only the future of his/her family, but the future of Ukraine.
*We have placed 6 students in three schools: the University of New Mexico and Menaul High School in Albuquerque NM and Rabun Gap High School in N Georgia. Why not public schools? Public schools will not take international students unless they are part of AFS, Flex or another well-known International Student Exchange program, and then only for one school year. Private schools with room and board have more options and can allow a student to come on an F1 Visa without a US family to signing the required 134a as financial sponsors.
Nazar IS from Ukraine. His family was displaced by the war. He was fifteen and entered the 10th grade in 2024 at Menaul School (founded by Presbyterians) in Albuquerque, NM*. Our cost for tuition, room, insurance, and meals for one year was $8000 or $667 per month.
Ten people giving $66.70 per month ($2.15 a day per donor, which is about the cost of a Tall Pike at Starbucks), will cover the cost of tuition, insurance, room and meals for one year.
