News from Ukraine and my last weeks of travel
Nearly every day, you hear news of the war in Ukraine. What you may not know is through our Center for Creative Activities and Center for Sports in Izmail, Ukraine and our summer and winter programs, in Bulgaria, we have built a supportive community, addressing the issues addressing trauma, and shaping the feelings and memories they will have of this war. Below are Ukrainian students we have placed in Menaul School (Albuquerque, NM) and Rabun Gap School (N. Georgia), and Anya, top left, living in Seattle.
We are looking for young adult volunteers (age 18 and up) to attend our Summer program in Varna, Bulgaria for families displaced by the war. Available dates are July 4-July 18.
